今天我要演讲的主题是《雷锋光芒永不败》。

雷锋，他把自己旺盛的青春全部献给了党，献给了人民，他把自己仅有的一双袜子缝了又补，补了又逢。平时的收入不多，却攒起来救济同志，向灾区捐款。二十二岁时，一场意外让这个爱岗敬业、积极向上的青年人抱着自己没能帮助更多人的遗憾没了生命。他高尚的理想、信念、道德、情操，为中华留下一段不朽的诗篇，雷锋永远活在我们的心中。
这样的好同志在我们的生活中真是数不胜数。二零一零年感动中国人物郭明义就同雷锋一样，在十九年里，这位好同志捐献了六万多毫升，是自己身体内的十倍多，他还屡次捐款，自己和家人却还只住在一间不到四十平方米的小房子里。在工作上，他兢兢业业、任劳任怨，干一行爱一行、钻一行精一行。

This morning we heard the talk given by our headmaster about Lel Feng.We were deeply moved by Lel Feng`s deeds. We have made up our minds to do as Let Feng did.
As there were no classes this afternoon, we decided to do some good deeds for people. Some of us went to the Station Square to repair bikes for people passing by, some went to a home for orphans nearby to help carry coal and wash their clothes, and others remained at school to clean the teachers` office. We all worked very hard.
It was not until six o`clock that I returned home. Tired as I was, I was filled with joy and pride.

Firstly,its Chinese traditional virtue to help others. The typical story to help others is offering fuel to the poor in snow days.According to legend,in a cold winter ,its snowing heavily,the Emperor Taizong of Song felt cold even hes beside the fire.So he ordered his soldiers to send charcoal to the poor.Therefor,the story and the good virtue have been circulated so far.To be ready to help others is a kind of traditional culture our ancestor left us,we shouldnt forget it.

Lei Feng was a model soldier， On December 1 8，1940， he was born in a poor peasant family in a little mountain village of Hunan Province. He didn't go to school till 1950. At the age of 18， he worked as a steel worker. He was often praised for his good job. On January 8， 1960， he joined the army. In the same year， he joined the Communist Party. He loved the Party and the people， and constantly did good for others. As a result， he became a model soldier. After his death， Chairman Mao called on the people to "Learn from Comrade Lei Feng". The whole nation were moved by his deeds. Lei Feng's spirit will live in our hearts forever.
